He was predeceased by: his parents, Candelario J. Alvara and Marciala J. Alvara. He is survived by: his wife Maria Alvara; his children, Juan Alvara Jr., JoAnna Flores and Alyssa Alvara; and his grandchildren, Eric Flores, Jacob Flores, Makena Flores and Urijah Johnson.
