He was predeceased by: his parents, Avelina Esquivel (Sanchez) and Geronimo Esquivel; and his siblings, Luis Esquivel, Blanca Esquivel and Agustin Esquivel.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha A. Esquivel of Modesto, CA; his children, Bertha A. Esquivel of Tucson, AZ, Sandra Rivera (Jesus Solis) of Yuma, AZ, Marisol Iñiguez (Juan) of Pomona, CA, Alejandra "Alex" Blaisdell (Aaron) of Pacifica, CA, Gabriela Esquivel-Khalawi (Mohammed) of Yuma, AZ, Ruby Esquivel of Modesto, CA and Omar Esquivel of Modesto, CA; and his sisters, Teresa Esquivel of Los Angeles, CA, Luz Maria Esquivel of Michoacán, MX, Liduvina Esquivel of Costa Rica, Albertina Esquivel of Sunland, CA, Irma Esquivel of Michoacán, MX and Micaela Esquivel of Nayarit, MX.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
