He was predeceased by: his parents, Zulmira Roza Pires and Jose Borges Pires (Vickie D. Pires); and his sister Maria Pires Lourence. He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Pires-Bautista (Michael Bautista) and Greg Pires (Antoinette); his sister Zelma Souza (Bob); his grandchildren, Mikaela Pires, Austin Pires (Jordan), Jaden and Jared Bautista; his stepson Chris Addor; and his stepgrandsons, Ryan and C. J. Addor.
