He is survived by: his wife Sarah Gomes; his children, Annette Bedsworth (Eric) of Wilton, Raymond Gomes (Andrea) of Ceres and Maranda Lucy of Modesto; his stepsons, Gordon Douglas Stewart of Ceres and Robert Allen Stewart of Salida; his siblings, John Gomes of Mariposa and Emily Maria Vieira of Tracy; and his grandchildren, Raiden Wiedenbeck, Julia Jennings (Scott), Natalie Ehrler (David), Brittany Gomes, Rebecca Clark (David), Alissa Atchison, Chad Atchison and Zach Atchison.
