He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Cecil Jenkins and Zula Hannah Potts; his brother Larry Merle Jenkins; and his former wife Geraldine Lousie Jefferies. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Jeff Jenkins, Vicki Vanaman and Jill Jenkins; his stepson Brad Walters (Teri); his grandchildren, Sara Munson (Billy), Kari Vanaman, Ben Walters and Caitlin Libby (Jon); his great grandchildren, AJ, Dakota Vanaman, Jacob, Sean, Emily Hawley, Jessa and Zander Vanaman; and his son Dale (Georgia Davenport).
