It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Joan Lankford in Modesto, California, born in Portales, New Mexico, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Travis Henry Procter and Ada Mae Procter; her husband Ted Lankford; her siblings, Travis Jr. Procter and Joyce DeFreece; and her grandson Ryan Pendley.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Cree and Scott Lankford (Helen). She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakewood Funeral Home (900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home & Lakewood Memorial Park (900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326).
