He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harper Trammell and Ethel Green Trammell; his spouse Shirley Anne Winter; and his children, Brian and Brenda Trammell.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Dan Castro, David Castro, Tim Copeland, Brianna Trammell, Brandon Trammell, Amber Trammell, Amanda Salas and Kori Overweg; and his sister Betty.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakewood Memorial (900 Santa Fe Ave, Modesto, CA 95351).
Dwight achieved many accomplishments during his lifetime, some of which include Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors, inducted into the Modesto Graffiti Route Walk of Fame, President of Rotary in Modesto, President of the SOS club, and Board of Directors for Stanislaus Consolidated Fire, Central Valley Electrical Apprentice Training Committee, various donations to local construction projects and organizations.
