He is survived by: his wife Ellen Shinkle; his children, Kary Atkinson (Jakob) of Ocala, FL and Kelly Paulson (Naren) of Indialantic, FL.; his grandchildren, Hannah, Paige Atkinson, Noah and Dylan Paulson; and his sister Janice VanAken (Bob).
