It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kim Nielsen (Mission Viejo, California), born in Suffern, New York, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Louise Boekenheide Nielsen; his children, Anna and Graham; and his sister Karen Nielsen.
He was the Director of the Department of Photography at the Sackler/Freer Gallery before forming the Image Technology Group and also became the Acting Executive Director of Tudor Place Foundation in Washington DC.
