He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Auty; his grandson Landon Auty; his son-in-law Joshua; his parents, Karl Faller and Alice Faller; his brother Brett; his sister-in-law Colleen; his nieces, Nicole and Jessica; and his pet Maya.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Darren's memory may be made to the K. Darren Faller Music Scholarship, at Mira Costa Community College in Oceanside, California.
