She was predeceased by: her parents, Rajalakshmi Mahadevan and Narasimhan Mahadevan; and her brother Balu. She is survived by: her husband Kuthur "Jaggu" Jagannath; her son Prithvi Jagannath; her daughter-in-law Natalie Jagannath; her grandchildren, Chetan and Maya; her sisters, Paddu and Lalli; and her sisters-in-law, Sundari, Prabha, Rama, Gita, Uma and Latha. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, and many close friends.
