She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Bates and Anna Bates (Francis); and her sons, Francis Anthony and James Howard Anthony. She is survived by: her brother Howard Bates; her children, Teresa Marie, Nancy Marie and Gerald Anthony; and her aunt Nancy. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

She was surrounded by her family and caregivers after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
