He was predeceased by: his parent Fabian Abarca. He is survived by: his mother Maria Melendez; his wife Ligia Abarca; his children, Karina, Fabian and Veronica Abarca; his grandson Julian Alvarez; and his siblings, Patricia Saravia and Milton Abarca. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
