It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lionel Desrosiers of Mill Valley, California, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lionel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lionel's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Desrosiers and Maryjane Desrosiers; and his brothers, Lucien J. Desrosiers Sr. and Ronald J Desrosiers. He is survived by: his granddaughter Emily Desrosiers of New Canaan, CT; his son Brother Dennis J Desrosiers; his siblings-in-law, Ann M. Desrosiers of East Windsor, CT., Barbara and Scott Mitaly of Milford, CT; and his father-in-law Frank. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Potter Funeral Home (456 Jackson St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Church (46 Valley St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (134 Club Rd, Willimantic, CT 06226).
