We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2018, at the age of 95, Ramona Chealander (Merced, California), born in Valley City, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry. She is survived by: her children, Joanne Swiderski (Frank), Jeanne Chealander, Jan Morrison, Mark Chealander (Sue) and Marianne Hunter; her siblings, Merril Thiel (Ruth), Shirley Froseth (Jerry), Jean Ryan and Janet Galvin; and her sister-in-law Nancy Thiel. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ramona may be made to the Anugraha Charitable Trust (Fr. Thomas's orphanage in India) in care of Anugraha ACT, Inc. PO Box 2558, Merced, CA 95344.
