She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Castro and Guadalupe Castro. She is survived by: her husband Humberto Contreras; her daughters, Corinne Koumarianos and Denise Wayman; her sister Modesta Fuentez; her grandchildren, William, Sarah, Aubrey, Victoria, Nico and Lee; her great grandchildren, D'arell, Rebecca and Mateo; her siblings, Helen Sanchez, Julian Romero, Eliza Garcia, Catarina Romero, Tony Castro, Margaret Sandoval and Isabel Castro; and her sons, Nicolas, Richard and Robert Koumarianos.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home (1490 B St, Merced, CA 95340). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
