She was predeceased by: her husbands, Ruben Chavez and Hector Caldera; her sisters, Gladys Dominguez and Nubia Dominguez; and her parents, Emma Ester Noguera Ruiz and Jose Abelardo Dominguez Bolanos.

She is survived by: her siblings, Emma Dominguez and Abelardo Dominguez; her niece Patricia d'Escoto (Vance d'Escoto); her godchildren, Sophia d'Escoto and Brando d'Escoto; her niece Angela Zamora; and her great-nephews, Freddy and Ronny.
