She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Whitaker and Freda Whitaker; and her sister Julie Whitaker. She is survived by: her husband Gabriel O. Coelho; her children, Mike Pellicano (Holly) and Linda Gomez (Tony); her stepsons, Gabriel Coelho (Danielle), Tim Coelho (Debbie) and David Coelho; and her grandchildren, Michael Pellicano, Katie Gomez, Lance Gomez, Courtney Mendes (John), Trent Coelho, Shelby Tanachion, Paige Coelho, Keeley Coelho and Cade Coelho.

In lieu of flowers monetary donations may be made to Challenged Family Resource Center 827 West 20th Street, Merced, CA 95340.
