She was predeceased by: her parents, Knut (Rikka Peterson) and Norwegian; and her husband Edward Richard Morton, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Diane (Ken Kemphues), Richard, David (Ranjita) and Daniel (Janice); and her sister Laura Thate. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Nora's memory is suggested to the Nature Conservancy or the Alzheimer's Association.
