We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2023, at the age of 92, George Alex Voronin (Menlo Park, California), born in Eureka, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Galina; his sisters-in-law, Natalia Lazor and Tatiana Manturoff; his nephews, Alexander Lazor, Paul Lazor, Andrew and Neil Manturoff; his niece Elizabeth McKean; and his cousins, Bob Sitov and Peter Sitov. He is also survived by many loving cousins, relatives and friends.

“Dear Galina Natalia. Tatiana. Alexander, Paul. Andrew, Neil, Elizabeth, Bob and Peter, cousins and friends: I met George while delivering mail on Tenth ave. as I worked for the San Mateo Post Office. Our conversations were legendary. My Uncle Noe had befriended the Giants when then came west from NY in 1958 and I had stories that made George smile and laugh out loud. Good thing I checked my wrist watch so often or he and I would have / could have been there for hours. Mike Chanteloup”
