We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2024, at the age of 78, Merecedes Herrera of Mecca, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Merecedes leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Merecedes may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonia Sandoval and Francisco B. Ramos; her husband Jose Herrera; and her siblings, Belen Medina and Juan Ramos.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Herrera of Mecca, Adelaida Herrera of Thermal, Fatima Valdez of Indian Wells, Belinda Linares of Mecca and Elia Herrera of Indio. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
