She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Amos Eugene and Ethel Elva Byers; her husband Herman Grooms; her children, Roger Herman Grooms (Herman J. Grooms), Jack (Cheryl), Paul (Debbie) and Carol Grooms Eastman (Mike); and her brother Eugene Byers (Ruth). She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
