He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Carter and Stella Carter (Daniels); and his sons, Leslie Bowie and Bobby Bowie. He is survived by: his sister Barbara Carlson (Al); his nephew Jon Carlson (Jamie); his niece Lori Smallwood; his grandson Leslie Bowie Jr; his daughter-in-law Cindi Bowie; his granddaughter Madison Bowie; his sisters-in-law, Aileen Meyers, Brenda Bowie and Eloise Meyer (Judy Freyslaben); his father-in-law Elmo Bowie; his nephew Brian Wells; and his niece Maggie Wells. He is also survived by his parents, sister (Patrica Harned), his wife.
