She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Fender and Ruth Fender; her husband Jack "John" Simpson; her sister Barbara Cale of Colusa; her daughters, Dana Nicolaus (John) of Oregon, Karen Moore of Colusa and Adria Kibbe (Dennis) of Marysville; and her stepchildren, Jeanne Zermeno (Vincent) of Marysville, Gary Simpson (Teresa) of Marysville and Shawnte Hughes (Michael) of Browns Valley. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
