He was predeceased by: his former wife Priscilla Tatro; his parents, Orion Tatro and Mary Tatro; and his daughter Carrie Tatro. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Jeff Tatro (Michele), Chris Tatro (Jacquelyn), Jill Abel (Don), Jana Acosta (Jaime), Marc Evans (Angela) and Allison De Young (Brandon); and his brother Bill Tatro. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent in his name to Twin Cities Rescue Mission.
