She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Graves Schmidt and Christian Schmidt; her husband Silas Avery Schellenger; and her siblings, Esther Chandler, Elizabeth Schuler and Herman Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Bivins of Anaconda, MT, Carol Schellenger of Yuba City, CA and Cliff Schellenger (Vonnie) of Chino Hills, CA; her niece Meredy Weldin (Kenny) of Yuba City, CA.; her grandsons, Rex, Ross Schellenger and Chris Bivins (Rebecca); and her great grandchild Abigail.
In lieu of flowers, Christine asked that any donations be made to the GoFundMe campaign (https://bit.ly) for her friend's great-grandson, Brody Drumheller, or to Shriner's Hospital, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95821 or to the Marysville United Methodist Church.
