It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Steven Messick of Marysville, California, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Charles Messick and James Godfrey. He is survived by: his children, Ionna Messick and Charles Messick; his stepchildren, Izaiah Kissel and Wyatt Kissel; his grandparents, Shiela Messick, Irene Godfrey, Steven Friend and Roy Untiedt; his father Jon Messick; his stepmother Amy Messick; his mother Lorri McElroy; his stepfather John McElroy; his siblings, Kayla Colbert (Messick), Hailey Messick, Joshua McElroy, Thomas Messick, Caleb McElroy, Jackson Messick, Owen Messick and Noah Messick; his stepbrother Adam McElroy; and also Amelia Messick.
His family is asking that in lieu of flowers a contribution be made to the Hallwood Church of the Nazarene, 2825 State Hwy 20, Marysville, CA 95901.
