It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Phares (Marysville, California), born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on January 26, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Paul L. Phares; her children, Terri Thompson and Alan Shafer; her daughter-in-law Makahn Shafer; her daughter Cheri Melton; her son-in-law Mickey Melton; and her grandchildren, Jaime, Jill, Jesse, Lindsay, Cody, Perrin, Luana and Bramwell (Fifteen). She was also cherished by Fifteen great-grandchildren.
