He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Gardella and Lorraine Gardella; his aunts, Nello Rossi and Florine Gardella; his uncle David; and his cousins, Sharilynn and David Russo.
He is survived by: his sister Susan Gardella France; his brother-in-law Carroll France; his niece Julie France; his nephew Steven France of Martinez; his cousin Leonard Rossi (Karen Rossi) of Castro Valley; and also Janet Rossi.
