It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Lewis (Marshall, California), born in Navarro, California, who passed away on May 16, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ainsley Skinner and Frances Skinner; her husband Bob; her son Bill; her sister Cleota Alles (Cle); and her cousin Barbara Battle.
She is survived by: her close friends, Judy Booth, Don, Carolyn Podratz, Lorraine Bessellieu, Catherine DeBoes and Judy Wolff; her son Jim of Eureka; her daughters-in-law, Darlene of Eureka and Sally of Temecula; her grandchildren, Lucas Murgia, Navy, William Lewis of Eureka and Veronica Lewis of Ferndale; her great grandchildren, Alexandria, Tyler, Savanah Broderick of Ferndale, Kassidy Murgia of Texas and Olivia Murgia of Seattle; her nieces, Marsha Williams of Lower Lake and Dottie Lee of Eureka; her nephew Larry Alles (Estelle) of Weaverville; her great-nieces, Jenni, Molly and Melissa; and her great-nephew Jason. She is also survived by 2 great-great nephews, 2 great-great nieces, and several cousins.
