With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oscar Urtiaga (Mariposa, California), born in Kerrville, Texas, who passed away on September 14, 2017 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Urtiaga and Cipriana Hernandez Urtiaga; his siblings, Helen Medina and Johnny Urtiaga; and his son Bruce Urtiaga.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Turk Urtiaga; his children, Donna De La Cruz (Bob), Lori Urtiaga (Billy Bumanglag), Lisa Villarreal (Fernando), Christopher Turk and Kevin Turk (Emily); his siblings, Mike Urtiaga Jr. (Gini), Olga Lopez (Leandro) and Rosie Trojanowski; his grandchildren, Mark Nunez, Anthony Nunez, Michael Castillo, Sean Urtiaga, Kaylee Turk and Elizabeth Turk; and his great grandchildren, Carissa Castillo, Michael Castillo Jr., Deja Castillo, Savannah Mendoza, Isabella Nunez and Aleena Nunez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
