Though Udai may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Udai touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Krishan Pal; his children, Micheal Pal (Roopal), Avinal Pal, James Pal (Tammy), Josephine Hurd, Anceline Pal and Juliet Wilson-Elliot; and his parents, Har Dutt and Shui Raji Dutt. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, one brother, four sisters, ten nieces and nephews.
