He is survived by: his wife Lupe Avila; his children, Julian, Nando, Braulio of Marina and LeeAnne Sanks of Marina; and his siblings, Alfred, Joey, Michael "Papa" Avila and Ramona "Muka" Avila. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
