We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2020, at the age of 75, William Draa (Manteca, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole and Marie; and his grandson William.

Arrangements are currently being handled by P. L. Fry and Sons, and a memorial service is scheduled for Oct. 28 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Manteca – which will be capped at 75 guests because of coronavirus restrictions.

“My husband and I were just talking about Bill and discovered that he passed. He was a wonderful man and hired me for my first teaching job 26 years ago. I am forever grateful to him for giving me the opportunity to begin my career in education. He was so kind, helpful and supportive during those challenging days. We remember going to his house for staff parties and what a great host he was. Bill was truly a gem! Jackie Tweed”
