He was predeceased by: his sons, Bill Platt, Bob Platt and Carl Hedegard. He is survived by: his daughter Sandra; and his grandchildren, Brad Mitchell, Danielle Weatherbie, Thomas R. Hedegard, Tara Schlecht, Lacey Bufford, Desiree Platt, Tori Hedegard, Carly Hedegard and Billy Hedegard.
