He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Besmer Gentes; his adopted Asian; his children, Matthew of Lathrop, CA, Julie Wood (David) of Brentwood, CA, William (Susannah) of Williamsville, NY, Philippe James (Melissa) of Mindin, NV, John of Los Altos, CA and Raju (Supriya) of Florien, LA.; and also Jerome (Michael Bourque) of Palm Springs, CA. He is also survived by children and their own spouses and children.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Il Fornaio Ristorante (545 San Antonio Rd, Mountain View, CA 94040). A rosary was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the P. L. Fry & Son Funeral Home (290 N Union Rd, Manteca, CA 95337). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Queen of Apostles Catholic Church (4911 Moorpark Ave, San Jose, CA 95129). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (22555 Cristo Rey Dr, Los Altos, CA 94024).
