He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Diaz and Pascuala Diaz; and his siblings, Josephine "Josie" Ochoa, Jesse, John "Johnny", Jaunita, Angelina "Cookie", Irene and Mary Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline; his children, Joseph (Mary), Susan Williams (Rex) and Angelina Basilio (Les); and his siblings, Felix, William "Bill" and Rosie Mendoza. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
