He was predeceased by: his sister Joan O'Heath. He is survived by: his former wife Carol Wilson; his wife Bette Anderson (B. J. Golik); his children, Janice Poull, Susan Adamek, Leslie Warren and Steven Golik; his grandchildren, Lauren Poull, Cee Blaine, Kevin Warren, Kyle, Kristen Adamek, Zachary, Kaitlyn and Bennett Golik; his nieces, Karen O'Heath and Katherine Padjen; and his nephew Mark LaMont.
