He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Anderson (University) and Ernest Anderson (University); and his brother James Robert Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Susan (Brian James) of San Carlos, CA and Rick (Alicia Anderson) of Santa Monica, CA; his grandchildren, Colton, Harrison Anderson, Braden and Alexa James; and his sister Maryellen Jill Farry of St. Cloud, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
