He was predeceased by: his father James Eckhart, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Eckhart,; his wife Carlene; his children, Matthew (Cassandra), Brandon (Deanna) and Natalie Rivera (Roberto); his grandchildren, Baron, Ella and Grayson; and his brother John (Karen).
