He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel W. Tacone and Ruth Tacone Franz; his stepfather Edward Franz; and his parents-in-law, Helen and Don Farver.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Dan Tacone and Ashley Szudarski (Adam); his grandchildren, Greyson and Shae Szudarski; and his siblings, Patti Piatkowski (Bob), Laurie Staudacher (George) and Joe Franz (Wendy).
