He was predeceased by: his pets, Scout and Tank. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Koons and Sylvia LaPorte (Lovell); his stepfather Jim; his sisters, Kim Wright (Jim) and Marcia Daugherty (William); and his stepsisters, Cheryl and Rhonda Carter (Danny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oroville Moose Lodge (1462 14th St, Oroville, CA 95965).
