She was predeceased by: her parents, Manches Thurlby and Gertrude Thurlby; her brother Ralph Thurlby; and her stepson Victor Turner. She is survived by: her husband Victor H. Turner; her children, Joanne Andrews (Dana), Vern and James Cochran (Deanna); her stepchildren, Karen Rhodes and Teddy Turner; and her siblings, Betty Harrison, Phillis Nelson, Faye Henry and Leroy Thurlby. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
