She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Oberti and Beatrice Oberti; and her son John Gilbert. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Heupel; her children, Michael Adolph, Christian Sean and Jason Andrew Mahaffey; her grandchildren, Madison, Shelby, Emma, Anthony and Isabella; her stepsons, Scott Ryan and Keith Bryan Heupel; and also, Josh, Koen and Alison Heupel.
