It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Elaine Upton (Madera, California), born in Elk City, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 15, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rev. Cleo and Vera Martin; her husband John Upton; her children, Julie Slayton of Madera Ranchos and Jared Upton of Madera; her siblings, Elvin Martin of Madera and Lary Keith Martin Sr.; her sons-in-law, Robert Slayton and Tyler Dominici; her grandchildren, Officer Shaw Bowman of Cumming, Avery Bo Slayton of Madera Ranchos, Jackson David Slayton of Madera Ranchos and Ryder John Slayton of Madera Ranchos; and her pets, Sabra of Madera, Archie of Madera and Juniper of Madera.
