He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Demetrio Chavez and Maria Dolores Chavez (Alcantar); his children, Manuel, Michael Chavez, Rachel Coil (Gary) of Arizona and Liz Salas of Madera; his grandsons, Brandon Ellner (Viktoria), Benjamin Salas, Joe Salas (Jennifer) and Jacob Salas; and his great grandchildren, Sophie Ellner, Chole Ellner, Hunter, Kile, Madison, Tristan, Marcello, Grayson and Ava Salas.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Luis's name to St. Joachim Catholic Building Fund, 401 W. 5 th Street.
