With solemn reverence, we commemorate Leeroy Tucker of Madera, California, born in Bluejacket, Oklahoma, whose life came to an end on February 14, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tucker and Stella Tucker; and his grandfather Lord. He is survived by: his son Kenny; his wife Essie Mae; his children, Judith Shaubach and Kenneth Tucker (Desiree); his grandchildren, Shelby Davidson (Thomas), Bailey Wallace (Aaron), Shane Shaubach (Mallory), Stetson Tucker (Gabby) and Colton Tucker; his great grandchildren, Parker, Bryce Davidson, Paisley, Beau, Tucker Wallace and Kinslee Shaubach; and also, Delphina Hernandez, Sally, Patricia Castro, Star Avila, Alex Ann Guerrero, Shannon Rush, Ariel Camacho, Heather Thompson, Francisca Gante Cornejo, Walkiria Medrano Diaz and Maria Arias.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jay's Chapel. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery (32053 McCabe Rd, Santa Nella, CA 95322).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the A to Z Foundation Group, a cause close to Leeroy's heart, raising funds to send veterans on the Central Valley Honor Flight, an experience that he treasured.
