He was predeceased by: his father Jose Conrado Aguirre; and his brother Angel. He is survived by: his mother Maria D. Aguirre; his siblings, Jesse Aguirre, Mary Aguirre, Elisa Martinez and Concha Aguirre; his daughters, Melinda Aguirre and Lorena Escalante; his son-in-law Robert Escalante; and his grandchildren, Alexis, Anastasia and Matthew Escalante.
