He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Hernandez and Delphine Hernandez; and his siblings, Eva Gutierrez, Louis Hernandez and Linda May.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his sons, Randy (Nanette) and Rick; his grandchildren, Taylor, Cameron and Rikki Hernandes; and his siblings, Jim Hernandez, Mary Jean Camarena, Millie Tishmacher (Don) and Patrick Hernandez (Jen).
