He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Fernandez Barragan and Isabel Barragan Gonzalez; and his siblings, Angel Fernandez, Rafael Fernandez, Maclovia Fernandez, Luciana Fernandez, David Fernandez and Conrado Fernandez.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Geronimo Jr., Angel and Jesse; his wife Nancy Martinez; his children, Victoria Williamson (David) of Mesa, AZ, Geronimo Jr. (Ofelia), Angel (Stacie) and Jesse of Madera; his grandchildren, Leo, Joseph (Serina), Michael, Jacob (Jill), Ariana, Alexiss (Adam), Alexander and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Audrina, Mackenah, Joshua and Adrian; and his sister Maria Soledad Fernandez (Alfonso Sr) of Espinoza. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and Godchildren.
